Emergency First Aid At Work Course

This course complies with the Health & Safety (First-Aid) Regulations 1981

All successful candidates will be awarded the Emergency First Aid at Work certificate, which is valid for 3 years.

Length of course

The course length at both our Walsall and our Bristol sites is 6 hours

Assessment type

Multiple choice test paper and an observed practical task

What’s covered?

Roles and responsibilities of a first aider
Assessing an incident
Unconscious casualties
Cardiopulmonary resuscitation
Safe use of an Automated External Defibrillator
Choking
Wounds and bleeding
Shock
Minor injuries (including small cuts, grazes and bruises, minor burns and scalds, small splinters)

Locations

Training courses take place at our Walsall and Bristol sites. These sites are located in the West Midlands, near to Birmingham, and in the South West of England.
